Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs The prologue was passable. I'd recommend reading that, looking at the pictures, then calling it quits. The MC alternates between spoiled, entitled rich kid, and braindead moron. Plot holes abound - jumping between loops? supersonic aging in the real world? The creature can't get in the loops, then they can? Well, which is it? Every character is barely developed, and after all that, the book audaciously cliffhangers. Are you kidding me?Two stars just because it held my interest (barely) enough to finish. Sequel? Pass.
